Summary: Molly gets her first job at a store that sells computer games, except she used Ed Crosswire’s help to get the job and knew nothing about what she was doing. How will her first customer react to her cluelessness?
I learned a lot of things my first day on the job. It was a small shop that sold computer accessories and software mostly, but I knew I could wing it in most situations, especially once I got some training. What I didn’t know was that getting a job through Muffy and her father meant I likely wouldn’t receive much training because of how much he would over sell my skills. This led to problems, but again, I learned quite a bit.

Summary: Francine is proud of her first home and wants to share the experience with her old classmates. When only a few show up, she decides to make the most of it and ends up having a great evening anyway. Can also be found on deviantArt and ff.net.
Francine had been saving up for a house for years, fifteen to be exact. Ever since she graduated, started college, and started her working life, she’d been piling up money away for her first house. Her piles of money were usually made of pennies, and sometimes there was nothing to put away thanks to a broken radiator or a refrigerator that wasn’t running, but she worked hard.
When she had enough, Francine found a nice house not too far from her childhood home. Elwood City had changed quite a bit, but she knew from online sources, as well as her ten-year reunion, that many of her classmates either lived in the area or worked there. She placed some messages online about her new home, not to brag but to ask about a housewarming party that could double as a reunion.

Summary: When Binky finds himself inside an interrogation room at the Elwood City Police Department, he plays it cool. The cops know what happened but what they’re looking to find out is the Motive. Can also be found here on ff.net.
WARNINGS: Graphic violence, some minor language, but namely the graphic thing. I’m rating this T because this is similar content that you would find in a show rated TV-14. If anyone wants me to up this to M, please let me know and I’d be glad to do so.
The room was small and sparsely furnished. Three folding chairs were placed around the room, none of them matching, and a small fold-out table was pushed against the wall. The only thing in the room was a heavy-set young man in his early twenties. A camera in the top corner of the room recorded his every movement, but there were none. He looked stoically towards the wall without doing anything. He didn’t tap his fingers or twitch his feet. He just sat there in silence. Continue reading “Motive”
Jane’s medication wasn’t working. Over-the-counter medication wasn’t made to help you overcome the amount of pain she was in, but Jane knew she couldn’t get any more pills. She’d have to manage without them, and since chores needed to be done, she’d just have to power through.
Jane moved into the kitchen and tackled the dishes first, then she carried a laundry basket into the den to begin folding. This was where David found her as he entered the home for lunch and to change into a dressier uniform. He put his car keys next to the door and looked up to see his wife sitting on the couch with a pained look on her face.

So I really enjoyed my entry about the Tough Customers, which I’m glad you all enjoyed and commented on. Because I loved it so much, I figured I’d do another one, at home, to discuss some other things in the fandom. Today’s entry will discuss some of the pairings, both canon and fandom pairings, to show you all what I think about them. I have quite a few pairings listed and discussed here, but I want you all to weigh in as much as possible. I may even have to break this up actually…. It’s a little long.
- Arthur x Francine
- Arthur x Sue Ellen
- Buster x Fern
- Buster x Kate
- DW x James
- Binky x Molly
- Brain x Sue Ellen

This morning, I passed by my childhood elementary school. It was like 8 in the morning so no kids were playing on the playground, but it made me think about Arthur, his friends, and their school, Lakewood Elementary. And one major question came to me that I want to discuss in full: Who are the Tough Customers?

Summary: DW has tried out for a local soccer team and won a place on the team. DW is proud of herself and is eager to play the sport, but Coach Crosswire benches her. Will DW ever get to play? Can Arthur’s friends help encourage her?
Can also be found here.
DW was eager to try out for the soccer team. She was six years old and still obsessed with the show Pretty Little Ponies, so joining a team called the Rainbow Unicorns was a big accomplishment. She knew nothing about soccer, just that Arthur and his friends played on similar teams when they were her age. She knew to kick the ball, hard, and to aim for the goal, the right one.
But DW wasn’t good at doing those things. Her try out didn’t show her this. In fact, her try out only convinced Jane the family needed a better communication system. It went like this:
